Yolanda Castaño


Yolanda Castaño was granted the Premio Fermín Bouza Brey (1994), the Premio Johán Carballeira (1998), the XV Premio Espiral Maior de Poesía (2007), and the Premio Irmandade do Libro á autora destacada (2014). Born in Santiago de Compostela (A Coruña, Galicia) on April 19, 1977, she finished her degree on Hispanic Philology and studied Audiovisual Communication in A Coruña. She was the Secretary of the Galician Writers Association, she was also part of the directive group of Letras de Cal and codirected the arts magazine Valdeleite.
