Ramón Caride Ogando


Ramón Caride Ogando was awarded the Premio Blanco Amor (1992), the Premio Risco de Literatura Fantástica (2003), and the Premio Lueiro Rey (2007). Born in Cea (Ourense, Galicia) in 1957, he holds a BA in Biology by the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, and is currently working as high school teacher. He was the first president of the cultural association A Santa Compaña of Cambados, where he lives; and he is also one of the promoters of the magazine under the same name. He has worked as a columnist in newspapers such as El Mundo, Faro de Vigo or O Correo Galego.
