Andrés Torres Queiruga


Andrés Torres Queiruga was awarded the Premio da Crítica Galicia de ensaio (1978, 1986), the Premio Losada Diéguez (1997), and the Premio Trasalba (2003). Born in Aguiño (A Coruña, Galicia) on May 28, 1940, he holds a BA in Philosophy (1962) and Theology (1966), and he is Doctor in Philosophy by the University of Santiago de Compostela in 1988. Member of the Royal Galician Academy (1980) and the Council of Galician Culture. He was also one of the founding members and director of the Christian oriented magazine Encrucillada.
